MICHELINE AMISI
ABOUT
Hi, Hello and Welcome!
My name is Micheline and I am a fashion-loving, Jesus-praising, Congo-repping young professional based out of Atlanta. My family moved to the United States (from the Democratic Republic of Congo) when I was eight in hopes of providing me (and my siblings that followed) a chance at the American dream. I can't say that we are there yet but with each passing day, I am realizing that we are on the pursuit of two things: what sets our hearts on fire and what calms our spirits. Sometimes these things coexist in one concept but from my experience, I have realized that we can get a little of all of this in different places.
I have always been excited by stories, and find a lot of joy in creating my own through written word, spoken word and fashion. This contributed to my decision to study business administration with a focus in consulting at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (GO heels). To feed my passion, I have hosted/emceed 50+ events with audiences ranging from 20-2500 people. Most notably, I hosted interviews for Dikembe Mutombo’s annual Caring for Congo gala. Additionally, I have styled and consulted over 30 people for a myriad of events ranging from date nights to birthdays and weddings.
I utilize a combination of my educational background and professional experiences to curate a special and unique final product for each customer. Whether it is through my writing, my consultations or an opportunity to engage an audience my purpose is the same: I hope that we may be inspired to chase our own dreams and turn them into reality. Everyone is born with potential --- what are you doing with yours?
