Skin Care, Best Care
Whew, so, there were many many days in my life where I got away with literally splashing water on my face, using body soap, putting on body lotion and calling it a day.From about 0 days old until about a year ago, this worked for me and you know what they say...if it’s not broken...don’t fix it. So I never did, until it broke- terribly. Like broke OUT. Some point during last year my skin just gave out. So of course, I went to Sephora and STOCKED up *still pray for my wallet please*, but nothing was really working. I tried product after product and my skin would act right then, back to the b..reakouts. This continued for about 6 months until I was basically desperate for a solution. I was getting uncomfortable with the acne and wanted something that would put my skin back at ease. So I reached out to Ana *a gem* because I knew she recently started working for Urban Skin Rx and asked for HELP. And in Ana fashion, she sent me products. And y’all, the kind of miracle that has happened on my face in the last seven weeks is incredible. I've had an almost completely acne-free face (minus that time of the month) for 4 weeks now and the dark spots from my episodes are fading. CLEANSER
This cleanser probably carried my face transformation journey on it’s back. I used in the morning and at night and it always left my skin feeling refreshed.
BRIGHTENING SERUM
This baby right here...baby, post-application, you would think I went for a swim in honey. I think this serum is the reason my dark spots have had such a fair recovery. I know it’s pricey, but I would easily put this as the number 2 Urban Skin Rx must-have.
MOISTURIZER
I haven't traditionally had the best luck with moisturizer since I like mine to go on lightly. This one does just that and leaves more of a shine versus a dull look post-application. Easily in the top 3 moisturizers, I have tried. Kiehl's another solid one.
MASK
Y'ALL -- if you want to try something, this is it. This mask literally and actually feels like a facial. My face always feels so... (for a lack of better words) grateful post-application. True to its name, it is so purifying and refreshing to my skin and poresI also use the even tone cleansing pads and even tone cleansing mask once a week and my skin loves these products too. If I had to choose between the two masks, I would def go with the pumpkin purifying that I listed.
